Kimberly Bourbeau

Kimberly Bourbeau is a longtime brain tumor and cancer advocate who brings both lived experience and a strong commitment to advancing research. A certified National Brain Tumor Society Research Advocate, Kim has participated in Head to the Hill seven times, advocating before Congress for cancer research funding, and has served as a consumer reviewer for the Department of Defense Glioblastoma Research Program. She is also an active leader with the American Brain Tumor Association, including service on its Volunteer Advisory Leadership Council and Mission Committee. Kim’s connection to brain cancer has driven years of advocacy, fundraising, research engagement, and work to ensure the patient and caregiver perspective is represented in the development of better treatments and outcomes.
